VACANCY IN THE LOGISTICS AND SHIPPING INDUSTRY IN NIGERIA
Our client, a logistics company in the UK is looking for
a staff to fill the position as stated below
as they are coming in to open office in Nigeria by next
month.
JOB TITLE: Business
development manager (Logistics and shipping)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Within this role you will be responsible for
generating,developing all sales activities in Nigeria (containerized shipment
and consolidation shipment both by sea and air).
·You will be responsible for overseeing
customs clearing at both Air and Sea ports. This role also requires overseeing
distribution/delivery team.
·You will develop Sales plans and strategies
to expand the clientele, market niche as well as maintaining customer
relationship and retention.
·Other responsibilities will include
travelling to different commercial regions in the country to search, secure and
manage existing and potential customers.
ELIGIBILITY:
To
be suitable for this vacancy you will have:
·strong background and track record in sales
management in the shipping industry.
·Strong ability to motivate a team,
·Drive sales and develop specific goals
needed.
·Good communication skill
·Impeccable customer service etiquette
·University degree
·Must be able to drive with a valid driver’s license
·Must have management/team leadership
experience
·God communication skills
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
Benefits include:
